Borovets - Borovets

Borovets is the oldest ski resort dating back to 1896. Nowadays, Borovets is the biggest first-class mountain resort in Bulgaria. It is situated 1350 m above sea level in Rila Mountain. It is 73 km away from the capital - Sofia and 126 km away from the city of Plovdiv. The ski tracks are over 58 km long, with different levels of difficulty. The ski runs are grouped in 3 regions: Sitnyakovo–Martinovi Baraki, Markudzhik and Yastrebets. The ski tracks are kept in excellent conditions and there are signs in different languages. Aitos - Aitos

The town of Aitos is situated on either bank of the Aitos river, in the Aitos field, in the southern foot of the Eastern Balkan mountain. It is 358 km east of Sofia, 30 km north-west of Bourgas and 22 km east of Karnobat. There are regular bus lines to Bourgas, Karnobat, etc. The railway station is on the main line Sofia-Bourgas (via Plovdiv and Karlovo). Aitos is an old settlement founded by the Thracian tribes.
